Girls Inc. Helps Police Department

On Tuesday, July 17th, members of Girls, Inc. lent a helping hand at the Police Department.  The teen group from Girls, Inc. washed both the inside and outside of 12 departmental cars.  The girls provided great assistance to our one part-time maintenance aide.  As a thank you for the hard work, the Police Department invited the girls to stay for a pizza lunch.  The girls reciprocated by hosting an ice cream social for the training class.  The day was so successful that the Department will be doing another car wash and ice cream social for the next training day as well.
