Nashua, NH (May 10, 2021) – Girls Inc. of New Hampshire hosted its second ever live-streamed “Fuel Her Fire” auction on Friday, April 16, 2021. Girls Inc. partnered with Events United and Studio Lab again this year, raising $165,000 to support the organization’s mission and its valuable programs.

“The pandemic turned things upside down, but we are coming out of it stronger than ever,” said Sharron McCarthy, CEO, Girls Inc. of New Hampshire. “We are all thankful to the many local foundations, organizations and to the hundreds of individual donors who have stepped up over the last year to help fund Girls Inc. of New Hampshire. We cannot thank our supporters enough – your contributions help us make a huge, positive difference in the lives of the girls we serve.”

Auctioneer and Board Member Mark Fodero joined McCarthy as they auctioned off 14 exciting items, like a trip to Cabo St. Lucas, Mexico, a Trek bike with helmet, and a Key West Getaway. The talented Amanda Mena treated viewers to a performance, singing “Rise Up” as well as a cover of “Just Like Fire” performed by vocalist Tanya accompanied by Brad Myrick, which played during a ‘Day in the Life’ slideshow. Viewers also heard from parents and alumni.

The funds raised from the virtual event will provide scholarships for girls to attend summer camp and afterschool programs.
