“Being bold helped me foster creativity, create opportunities, and set myself apart from the competition.”

Meet Kaylee Hubbard, the founder of Kays Social, a social media management company and alumna of Girls Inc. of New Hampshire. She shares how she is still a Strong, Smart and Bold girl.

Girls Inc. has a strong motto that still lives today, that is Strong, Smart, and Bold. This is how it impacted my life today.

Being strong means having the courage and determination to persevere through adversity and keep going. It means having the resilience to pick yourself up and continue on. I have to tell you, starting a business while being a full-time college student took a ton of courage. I never knew if I was even ready to be a business owner so young. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but I knew one thing, I had a passion and I was going to go after it.

The second. Smart. Smart means having the ability to critically think and analyze a situation in order to make the best decision. It means having the wisdom to know when to take risks and when to be cautious. I set clear, defined goals and objectives for my business. This helps me stay focused and on track to achieve my desired outcomes. I develop a strategic plan that outlines how I will accomplish these goals.

Finally, Bold. Bold means having the confidence to stand up for what we believe in. It means being brave enough to face your fears. When I started my Kays Social, I feared being so young. But being bold helped me foster creativity, create opportunities, and set myself apart from the competition.
