Manchester, NH (October 25, 2018) – Girls Inc. of New Hampshire celebrated the successes of three “Women of Achievement” at its 14th Annual Women of Achievement Brunch at the Manchester Country Club on Sunday, October 21. Women of Achievement winners are chosen because they exemplify the Girls Inc. mission: inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold!
This year’s winners are: Sandy Cleary, Carrie Cariello and Debra Nash.
Sandy Cleary, of Nashua, believes everyone should have three careers in their lives. After college, she was an aerospace engineer with Litton Industries. In her second act, Cleary founded CruCon, a cruise line company, in her mother’s basement. After leading CruCon to become the largest seller of cruises in North America, she founded SLC Holdings Group. Based in Nashua, the investment company partners with passionate business owners that need an investment to take their business or product to the next level.
Carrie Cariello, of Bedford, helps thousands of parents navigate the complex world of autism. Cariello began blogging about the joys and challenges of helping her autistic son, Jack, with his day-to-day activities. She also authored a book, What Color is Monday?, about her experiences raising a child with autism. Cariello hopes each day that Jack, and others with autism, will be greeted by a smile, a friendly face and a warm welcome each day.
Debra Nash, of Hudson, was the first female member of the Nashua Rotary Club in 1998. She’s also made her mark working in real estate investment and development. Nash is also passionate about giving back, serving as a leader in philanthropy.
